My wife gave birth at North York General Hospital, and overall, the team provided decent care during delivery and afterward. The staff were generally attentive and professional, and I really appreciated how well they handled the follow-up checks for both my wife and our newborn daughter they were thorough and reassuring. I was admitted through the Emergency Department earlier than my scheduled C-section due to the onset of labor and the presence of a mucus plug. The entire process was smooth, with no long waiting time in the Labor and Delivery unit. The environment was clean, and all the nurses were kind and welcoming. Great hospital in an ideal location. Quality doctors and nurses. It’s where my daughter was born. Excellent experience. Emergency department is also top notch. Got blood test, urine test, X-Ray, ECG and ultrasound done within 6 hours with assessment from doctor. Not too bad considering the busy time of the year. Thank you!

I gave birth at North York General Hospital this week, and as first-time parents, we were honestly a bit nervous after reading some of the reviews. While labour itself was definitely tough (of course! 😅), the care and support we received from the doctors and nurses were amazing. A special thank you to all of the nurses, they really went above and beyond. They took the time to explain everything, answered all our questions, and did their best to help me through the pain and keep me comfortable.

Had knee replacement surgery yesterday. Every single person that was involved in caring for me was incredible . Dr. Poon (I believe) was my anesthesiologist and was so wonderful. Dr. Dhotar did my surgery , was incredible. Julie, the 4th floor nurse I had was the sweetest and most caring girl. There were so many others that I didn't get names of but I honestly cannot say enough good things about this hospital and the staff , never encountered a single negative person!!!
