Provides support in the development of plans and decisions made concerning MοΏ½tis children, youth and families receiving services from the Ministry of Children and Family Development (MCFD). Key Workers are actively involved and work directly with families and MCFD child protection workers to develop family plans and supports. Key Workers complete referrals to counsellors, treatment centres or other community services; provide one-to-one support; connect children, youth and families with MοΏ½tis elders and mentors; and connect families with legal representation or aid.
