About
Offered by Providence Health Care Society. Offers rapid assessment, treatment and stabilization for individuals with problematic substance use and mental health concerns at a clinical unit next to the emergency department. Specialists treat patients needing acute care and rapid access to substance use treatment. Also provides help transitioning back into the community following treatment through outpatient support at the Rapid Access Addiction Clinic, or with the Overdose Outreach Team that help clients access addiction care and community services. Patients can access the clinical unit through the emergency department triage or by calling for more information.
