Offered by Avalon Recovery Society. Offers drop-in centres where women in recovery from addiction and substance use can share their experience, strength and hope in a safe, supportive environment. Programs include one-on-one peer support, group meetings, alcohol and drug counselling, addiction treatment services, life-skill workshops, and community resource information. Also offers health and education workshops for women in the 1st and 2nd stages of recovery. Child-minding is available.
