CAMH is great. The nurses beyond helpful and patient for what must be the most mentally exhausting job out there. CC3 staff are very kind. This place was better than North York General for their mental health crisis care. They specialize in this and I feel the plans are clinically thought out. Their inpatient ward security is better than Markham Stoufville's as each room is locked upon closing vs a system where patients can freely enter each others room. Overall, I can see that this is the bes

Our family had a markedly better experience here than at other hospitals during a mental health crisis. The emergency and inpatient teams recognized the seriousness of the situation and admitted our family member for stabilization. The length and structure of the admission ultimately made a meaningful difference. Care was coordinated, clinically thoughtful, and clearly goal-oriented. Communication was transparent, and there was a defined treatment plan rather than a focus on rapid discharge. W

These guys are actually great, they are all very competent and very supportive. Very professional acting and nice and friendly. I would 100% recommend this to anyone needing a medically supervised withdrawal. And yes they do give you medications to help you through it. The benzo’s they give you if you are experiencing alcohol withdrawal almost makes it a mini vacation once it hits.

Triage was fast and then waited over an hour before approaching the registration desk to kindly ask how much longer we had to wait. The response of “this is an ER like any other ER which means that the wait time is 3-4 hours to see a doctor…”was rather infuriating given that we were the only people in the waiting room area area! After a bit of “let’s make them laugh” conversation on my part w
