My sister had a moment of weakness at 1:00am where she actually asked me to take her to rehab. After couple of hours of waiting I was told that she needs a referal from her family Dr to be admitted. After that episode my sister went back to denying she has a problem and 7 years on she is still having issues. The one chance I had to get her help I wasted on this place. Shame on you CAMH.

Called today to get information on a previous appointment and the lady who picked up the phone was extremely rude, I had barely gotten any words out and she was cutting me off and giving me attitude. Pretty inappropriate considering this is a centre for mental health.

The worst hospital I’ve ever been to. The ‘Emergency’ department is a complete joke. They referred me to their ridiculo

If you want to have your problems invalidated this is the place! This place is a joke, but they will spend more than 2 minuets on you if you have a more "serious" problem. So basically, you need to get much much worse to be taken seriously by anyone in the building. That's how a building full of mental health professionals operates.
