The world renowned Sick Kids hospital has been doing incredible work for children's health. Very large and well managed hospital. The emergency and inpatient teams recognized the seriousness of the situation and admitted our family member for stabilization. The case management services are disorganized and very much lacking. I had one case worker who just didn't come to visit me. My second case worker cancelled all her appointments and stopped responding, so did her manager. I've only had four appointments in the last 8 months, and the meetings were supposed to be weekly. I had a traumatic experience and ran away from home. This Shelter gave me the rest and support I needed. Nicola is so loving and caring. Her commitment is amazing. The director Bobbie made Christmas dinner for all the Residents herself. Every dish was excellent. I was lucky to be there for Christmas. All the Residents were given many gifts and brand new beautiful cozy pyjamas. They put a smile on all our faces.

If they focused on housing as much as they focused on recycling people back onto the street, I think there'd be more people actually moving forward. Some clients are favoured, and spend north of a year in their house, while others who follow the rules and truly do their best are cut off before they're really ready, psychologically or financially. They give up on you unexpectedly. Pretty disgusting, considering they get paid either way.

Regular talk therapy (for me) never cut deep enough to make any lasting changes. It wasn’t until I started working with Brian that my life finally started to turn around and real progress was made. I’ve been using loft services for years but just recently visited this hub for the first time and had a great experience! I came here for a group activity and had a relaxing and social time with everyone there! The space itself is super cozy. There is a very nice view from the third floor which you can look out from the comfort of the couch. I was assaulted here and got a concussion after falling and hitting the back of my head on the edge of a table. For my role in the argument leading up to the assault I was asked to leave immediately, which is not the problem, I understand they have the right to ask people to leave. The problem is I asked staff at least 10 times to call 911 for medical attention and they refused. There was no nurse or doctor on duty that day. This detox changed hands from UHN to St. Michael's Hospital in May of 2022. This included a complete change of staff and programming. The reviews from before that change over were accurate for the time. The Creative Arts Studio is ableist. For almost six months I had a walker and could not enter to use the studio due to stairs. Because it is not wheelchair accessible, this disrupted my creative work and made all of the projects I was working on unable to complete. I wish I never got involved in this agency.

Volunteers were helpful the service was quick and they were very knowledgeable that there for goods and services around that area as well.

I used to be a therapist-member of TPG, so I know it well from both inside and outside. It has an extremely effective and creative executive. It's website is user-friendly. Its therapists are very well trained and very varied in their skills and approaches. Anyone in search of a therapist should be able to find the right match on this site. It's as good as they get.

My hospital of choice. Patient care quality varies.I am involved with Geriatric Program,ECT Clinic, Nicotine dependence clinicand Emergency.These clinics are amazing and they care for you. However the same can not be said of Inpatient Floors. I have been in various floors. My worst experience was with Geriatric Inpatient Programs both Floor A and B.

Bizarre clinicians. Went there for rTMS for depression, and it didn't work, so they called me schizo. Went again a few years later for ECT for persistent depression after years of other treatment and they denied me that for some reason. Go to another hospital in the province, another province, or abroad. I don't think they're very comfortable with new patients.

My friend went to Michael and paid significant amounts of money just to be told “imagine wind blowing” and other useless brainrot exercises when he was in a massive crisis. More focused on worksheets and generic advice u can find online for free.

Very disappointed in community living, our young people always enjoyed Lester the DJ and the monthly Friday night dances. We understand that they are no longer available as Community Living has decided not to communicate with the DJ ? Very disappointing 😟

I saw this woman in 2012 and was not impressed with her attitude. She was judgmental, and it showed in her demeanor and in her report. She was not capable of listening. She may be ok for learning profiles, but I don't recommend seeing her if you have any sort of emotional difficulties.

Psycho educational assessments? Don’t waste your time with her. Rude, arrogant, and just not good at the testing and interpreting results. Over charges as well.

Great place and staff. Staff is always there to help when needed. Jordan Baker is genuinely caring of the clients. Area is not the best but that doesn't matter much as the staff is amazing at helping clients prepare plans to help stay sober in the area. I highly recommend this place to anyone coming out of treatment.

I have nothing but great things to say about this entire organization. I did 90 days in residential treatment and I was very skeptical at first but this program with my drive for a better future absolutely changed my life. The staff were all amazing and always there for you at any time. Highly recommended. I will be forever grateful for my experience here.

Sometimes you find a great doctor who is very talented and skilled. Sometimes you find a doctor who is kind and compassionate. Dr Jonathan Gladstone is both. He goes above and beyond for his patients. He truly cares and listens. Additionally Gwyneth his lovely receptionist could not be more efficient and sweet. I am so grateful to you both.

I am so grateful to Dr. Gladstone. He saved me from the agony that is chronic migraine. He worked with me for several years, never once giving up on me despite treatment resistance and extreme sensitivity to most migraine preventatives. I am now on a treatment that truly works for me, and produces no side effects for me. My abortive migraine meds work even better now, because I'm on the right migraine preventative. The physiotherapist is an amazing and knowledgable person. She combines Acupuncture with Ultrasound treatments, manual adjustments and provides valuable suggestions for the pain control. I went there with plantar fasciitis and after three treatments, I feel so much less pain. Thank you so much

Vince Lee is the best! There isn't a part of my body that he hasn't worked on. He has been my Physio Therapist for over 20 years. I have had multiple surgeries from a torn Achilles tendon, 2 knee replacements, plus surgery on my shoulder. I wouldn't trust anyone else with my rehabilitation. He works miracles at dissolving scar tissue and giving you back your mobility. I highly recommend him.

I have been waiting for my order since December 2025. Communication from the clinic has been poor and inconsistent. After being in two other rehabs I can say this one is by far the strictest for silly reasons, they push religion down your throat as well (praying before and after each meal and spiritual awakening every morning) if you miss any class you loose privileges, the food is all frozen and three woman had circulation issues due to the salt content. I have received more than just help from the Canterbury Clinic from a Consuler by the name of Christine once a week every time she would call me and really listen to my problems she without knowing was saving my life suicidal thoughts of using and so many other issues I had she would even go the extra mile to check up on me to see if I was alright. I have been a patient for over 20 years! You will not find more caring compassionate people anywhere especially Dr. Foo! That said and in reference to the comment above if you do step out of line or do not follow the program then of course you will be disciplined. This is not a babysitting service it's "your" well being and the staff can only help you if want and accept the offer!

While the clinic space itself is nice, my experience with therapy here was deeply disappointing. At a time when I needed mental health support, I felt abandoned rather than cared for. The way the situation was handled added to my trauma instead of helping me heal. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this clinic for counselling or therapy services.

I can't speak to the quality of service because I work here. But I can speak to the fact that the Skylark walk-in provides free immediate counselling to youth ages 12-26. It's open 6 days a week, and clients can get help from a social worker for any issue big or small. It's a remarkable service that everyone should know about!
